Drawings

'The Inky Hand'
These are spontaneous, exploratory pen and ink drawings using dip pens and various different inks mostly acrylics, some diluted to various different densities to achieve tonal effects. I really love drawing with these tools and materials, it is quite challenging as there is no room for mistakes. Errors and splodges are practically impossible to cover up or remove tidily.
I am planning to do some screen and relief printing and these images are my source material, derived from my love of surface pattern and textile design.

All of these drawings are on Fabriano Satinata paper, 76 x 56 cms, and are for sale unframed.
